Parks are essential for communities’ mental and physical health. Pretty important, right? 

But unlike schools, hospitals or power stations, parks and green spaces aren’t considered critical infrastructure (i.e.“infrastructure considered essential by governments for the functioning of society and economy and deserving of special protection”). 

So, on Earth Day, parks will prove just how critical they are with a time-old tactic. A strike.
