Shelter partnered with IKEA to launch a vital campaign against the horrors of temporary accommodation called Unwelcome Home. The last leg of the campaign needed to transform delivering an open letter to the government into a newsworthy moment that packed a punch.
We delivered an actual room-sized open letter. The letter measures 3.5m x 2.5m – the actual size of a room provided for one family of seven helped by Shelter – to show the desperate lack of space many homeless families are faced with when living in temporary accommodation.
